New pathways were provided from the existing car parks on either side of the station to provide accessible access to the station entry. A new platform station building was provided which included a new staff office and amenities, services rooms, cleaner’s and storage room, commuter amenities and a family accessible toilet.

The platform area was resurfaced with the provision of new tactile indicators where required. New platform canopy structures, services upgrades and signage were provided.
