Summary

Construction of a new 90 metre long x 15 metre wide x 4 span concrete bridge as part of the expanding subdivision works at Marsden Park.

Significant Achievements

The project involved the construction of a new Super-T bridge superstructure and a substructure comprising piling works, reinforced concrete piers, abutments, wing walls and diaphragms. The bridge was completed with precast concrete traffic barriers and steel railings above. The bridge deck comprised a composite insitu concrete topping slab and new bridge concrete approach slabs were provided.

A new pedestrian grated metal walkway was also constructed as a part of the bridge structure, supported off steelwork bolted to the concrete structure, and completed with a metal screen balustrading system.
